GenDx offers a challenging position for a Technician with a keen eye for quality and detail.
As a Technician in the Operations team, you carry out production and quality control laboratory work of our excellent products for transplant diagnostics. At GenDx, you get to work with the latest technologies on various platforms. You are responsible, precise, and you have a hands-on mentality. Naturally, you are an excellent planner and great collaborator, so working together in a team comes natural to you. Last but not least, you are aware of the activities in the lab and help your colleagues with their work and planning. You help to implement new products and improve protocols and processes.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and aliquoting reagents
- Assembly of the final product
- Performing quality control tests
- Analyzing, interpreting and reporting results
- Guiding and training colleagues
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment
- Improving existing protocols and procedures
- Organization of the laboratory
- Working according to ISO 13485 standards
Profile
- MBO or BSc in Life Sciences or equivalent
- 0-2 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with PCR and NGS is a pre
- Experience with liquid handling robots is a pre
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Strong collaboration, planning and communication skills
- Independent and hands-on attitude
- Good command of English (both written and spoken)
- You are eligible to live and work in the Netherlands
- You currently live in Utrecht or surrounding area close to Utrecht Science Park, or are willing to relocate
